St. Marys Lighthouse

Sunday 20th May, 10:30-13:00: BioBlitz.

Help celebrate the International Day for Biodiversity at St.Mary’s Island as we attempt to put together the largest list of flora and fauna ever found in the area in one day (hopefully beating last years record!!!). Our wardens will be spread around the numerous habitats in the area offering the chance to rock pool, pond dip, mini-beast hunt and bird watch. Anything you find will be reported to a nerve centre in the lighthouse who with your help will create a giant collage to celebrate the biodiversity of St.Mary’s Island.

A free drop in event suitable for all ages. Booking not required.
